On-Camera Intensive taught by Donnajeanne Goheen,  L.A. Talent Manager who has been featured in two E! Network documentaries and numerous publications. Before becoming a manager, Donnajeanne worked as a casting director as well as the parent of a successful actor. Her clients, former clients and students can be seen every day of the week on various TV channels in commercials, TV shows or movies. She has invited more than a dozen young actors to join her group in L.A. during the past 2 years and most have had considerable success with bookings on shows like Seventh Heaven, The Guardian, American Family, Oliver Beene, C.S.I., Bernie Mac, The Division, Strong Medicine, Medical Investigation , The Shield, American Dreams and much more.

Ages 6-10   10:00 - 12:30 p.m.  Fee: $65 reduced to $45 if paid by 3/3
Limited to 10 participants
Ages 10- 18 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Fee: $130 reduced to $95 if paid by 3/3
Limited to 14 participants

Workshops will include a blend of commercials, improv, and contemporary TV and film scripts with on-camera work and review. These sessions are designed  to meet the needs of both beginners and those with previous training and audition experience.  All participants will be given a certificate towards additional training at Young Performers Studio in Los Angeles and will be considered for scholarships for the Summer Boot Camp in Los Angeles.

"Taming the Showbiz Jungle" - a seminar for parents will be conducted from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
The fee is $35 and is reduced to $20 for those who have a child enrolled in workshops. This session answers questions parents have about maximizing opportunities locally for their child, making the move to Hollywood or New York, working effectively with agents and managers, understanding how casting decisions are made and union vs. non-union issues.


Scenework for the intermediate/advanced level young actor
ages 11 and older. Facilitated by Donnajeanne and her associates Richard Liedle and Justin Irish. Character
dynamics, emotional access, physical and vocal believability.
