  If you are dialing the 206-336-1700 line, you may get busy signals
for the next day or two during peak periods.  We are going through
a telco switch and the line forwarding isn't set up correctly yet.

  We have also changed news servers, if you are using news.zipcon.net
you should notice a whole lot more groups available now.  There are
about 90,000 newsgroups available.  This does not affect you if you
are not familiar with Usenet news.  If you do read Usenet news and
notice a difference, please let know what you think.

  There is the usual security problem of the day, generally a new
virus.  You can read about the latest breaking virus news at:
  http://www.cert.org/current/current_activity.html#virus

  Finally, there is a free for non-commercial use firewall for
Windows systems at http://www.zonelabs.com/.  If you are concerned
about security on your computer, you may with to take a look at it.
Please be aware that it may slow your computer down, especially if
you have an older system.  Firewall software takes of resources on
your computer, but does add some security.  Before you install the
firewall software, please be read about it.  It may require more
advanced technical knowledge to operate properly.
