Vertigo Butterfly - Forbidden Desires

This area of the website is deemed the 'catch all' section where you will find various

seemingly unrelated things that pique our interests including links and pictures, perhaps

rants... there is no telling what we may include.  It may very well bore you to tears in which

case just click here.  Are we forgetting a site that should be listed here?  Keep us posted.

If you would like to place a link on your website to ours, here's a cool banner to use if you like...

Here are a couple of pictures of the Vertigo Butterfly grocery-getter, *Big Ben* our 1966
Cadillac station wagon (read: HEARSE).

If you see this car cruising around the Portland Metro area, be sure and wave.  It'll be us
going out to visit Dave, Dana or Kelly at our favorite local Post Office and asking them to
kindly mail our CDs, t-shirts and stickers to our loyal supporters; or perhaps we will be on our
merry way to visit Safeway, Fred Meyer or WinCo for some yum-yums to feed Ruby who
seems to eat incessantly as she grows ever taller...  I have been entertaining the idea of
converting Big Ben into a 'mobile digital recording studio' for taping live shows
around town.  Is it a ridiculous idea??

Todd Richards, very good friend and owner/operator of Revolution Guitar  - an online store for guitar players

and for studio guys looking for serious microphones.  In Todd's own words: The items I sell here at Revolution

Guitar are products I like for their quality and/or tone.  There are plenty of things that I could stock and choose

not to.  Instead of offering many choices, I choose to offer the obvious choice whenever possible.  But let’s face it,

there are many kinds of players, and lots of different kinds of high quality gear.  Because of this, I’m always looking

to expand the line of items offered.  If it sounds great and can take the punishment gig after gig, I’m interested.

REVOLUTION GUITAR - LA, CA.

Todd is also opening a 'to be named' recording studio with ex-Outlaw Billy Yates (currently in Electobeck)

in LA, CA.  Rumor has it they will be developing a web presence as the joint becomes operational and a link

will be provided at that time.  In the meantime I'll see if I can get a photo of the place and/or their mugs.

I, in a few short years (back in the '90s) learned more from Steve Smith about music

than I ever could have learned in my entire life on my own. Please visit his site:
