 Abhorred:

 A
few songs start as lyrics only. It might be intriguing to see how they
change when put to music and then how they change over time up to the
point |
 when
they become recorded. These are beginning lyrics which I hope to get
into a song of sorts for our second CD; you can come along for the ride |
 in
seeing how the words eventually transition: |

  a
schoolgirl looks like this - a girl sleeps in slips - a girl is a problem -
pulling on tights meticulously - a girl in London is a girl in stampede - |
  no
heart to bathe proper - a tangent in water - everywhere a childless rose on
white lips - gowns ripped at the hips - |
  then
come the callers - with bouquets on fire - gentlemen oblige (-) the illness
she hides - morning after sentences adrift - almost rewired - |
  a
girl in a manic fit - a diamond for good measure - baked in a cake for
pleasure. (copyright, me, 2006) |
