Captain Schack has been deployed in Iraq since mid-2005 with the
Wisconsin National Guard. He is doing well, and his family and
friends eagerly await his return to the United States in the
spring of 2006.
Unfortunately, we will no longer be posting Eric's letters from
the front lines. However, many personal accounts from soldiers
fighting the War in Iraq can still be found at
The Mudville Gazette,
a great web site with daily updates from around the web and around
the world.
Thanks to all who have visited and followed Eric's progress over
the past several months. We wish him and all of his fellow
soldiers a safe and swift return home.
